Fall and Winter is an attempt by the filmmakers to understand the causes behind an unprecedented global environmental crisis which threatens the future of mankind. Through a series of travels around the US, the film touches on themes such as pollution, drought, the sparseness of natural resources and mass dislocation. Featuring interviews with specialists on the subject -- Richard Manning, Chris Hedges, Grace Lee Boggs, Michael Reynolds --, this is not an apocalyptic rant, but a search for answers and a look at past examples that may teach us to survive in this century. SXSW 2013.
