Em março de 2023, Hong Kong enfrenta incertezas marcada por três anos de bloqueios e turbulência política sob uma rigorosa lei de segurança. No entanto, há otimismo, especialmente em seu cenário artístico. O Museu M+, projetado por Herzog & de Meuron e que abriga uma espetacular coleção de Uli Sigg, foi inaugurado e atraiu mais de 2 milhões de visitantes em um ano de funcionamento. O documentário destaca o seu impacto e os artistas emergentes que desafiam as restrições, sugerindo um futuro promissor para a arte de Hong Kong.

Michael Schindhelm

Michael Schindhelm

Nasceu em 1960, na Alemanha, e vive na Suíça. Tradutor de literatura russa, é escritor, cineasta, especialista em artes cênicas e consultor cultural de organizações internacionais. Professor convidado em várias universidades na Europa e na Ásia, ele é, desde 2008, diretor-fundador da Dubai Culture & Arts Authority. Foi diretor-geral da Berlin Opera Foundation e diretor artístico do Theater Basel.
