Non-stop cinematic pleasure in store today.

At 6pm at the Museu da República catch Turkish-German directing duo Biene Pilavci and Ayla Gottschlich presenting another session on their hard-hitting documentary, Chronicle of a Revolt - One Year Istanbul, followed by a Q&A with the directors.

A little later on, at 7pm, the Estação NET Ipanema 1 will be the setting for Brazilian actor and director Mauricio Branco's new film Carmen - Life is a Celebration, an intimate journey through the life and work of Carmen D'Aléssio, as well as Laurent Lunetta's work Black Dandy - Une Beauté Politique. Both films will be present by their respective directors, and in the case of the latter, the producer Patricia Trautmann.

Elsewhere, at the Estação NET Botafogo 1, at 7.15pm French director Catherine Corsini introduces her long-awaited film Summertime (pictured), part of this year's Panorama programme.

From the Expectations 2015 series comes H., which will be screened at 9.15pm at the Kinoplex São Luiz 2, introduced by director Rania Attieh.

Finally, in the Cine Odeon – Centro Cultural Luiz Severiano Ribeiro, we have a very special gala screening of The 33, the film about the incredible real-life rescue mission to save 33 Chilean miners trapped for 69 days below ground. The session is part of a celebration of the 20th anniversary of Fox Searchlight at the Festival do Rio, and we are excited to announce special-guest Rodrigo Santoro, the Brazilian actor, will be present to introduce the film in which he stars, alongside Antonio Banderas, Juliette Binoche and Gabriel Byrne

Tickets for all the films are on-sale at our box-offices or can be purchased online at ingresso.com.
