The working week started with a busy schedule in the Armazem da Utopia starting with a panel that discussed the challenges and opportunities of translating the diversity of Brazilian cinema to television, both in terms of content and audience. Issues such as regional, ethnic and cultural representativeness, adapting different genres and languages to the television format were debated.
After Gabriel Jacome, TV Globo's Content Director, shared his experience on how to create content capable of engaging different audiences. The talk addressed the main challenges in producing material that resonates with diverse audiences, exploring strategies to make communication more inclusive and effective in an increasingly diverse market.
In the afternoon, a panel covered the global consumer trends, themes and formats in greatest demand abroad and how to adapt and position Brazilian audiovisual content for export so that the material is attractive to distributors and global platforms.
Fabio Lima, CEO of Sofa Digital attempted to explore the complex and thorny challenges of regulating the internet in the current global scenario, in which the exponential growth of digital and streaming platforms raises questions about privacy, security, freedom of expression and responsibility. Regulatory alternatives were discussed in different contexts, addressing the balance between technological innovation and the protection of individual and collective rights.
