Residents of Niteroi get the chance tonight to see the film that opened the festival in style on 3 October.
French director Jacques Audiard's “Emilia Pérez”, winner of two prizes in Cannes this year, including the Jury Prize and the prize for the best performance by an actress for its quartet of stars; Selena Gomez, Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón and Adriana Paz, screens at 18.20 at the Reserva Cultural Niteroi.
Residents on this side of the bay get one last chance to see the film prior to Paris Filmes releasing the musical thriller in Brazilian cinemas on 6 February 2025. The film, that has already been chosen by France to represent the country at the Academy Awards in the International Feature Film category, screens at Estação NET Botafogo at 21.15 on Friday.
