You may not have had the opportunity to get to the gala screenings at the Cine Odeon, but Friday and the weekend offers audiences in Rio other chances to catch some of these critically acclaimed films. 


“Malês” (photo), which only had its gala screening of Thursday, screens Friday at Estação NET Rio at 16.00 and again on Saturday at Reserva Cultural Niteroi at 18.40. “The Apprentice”, the story of the up-coming Donald Trump, screens on Friday at Reserva Cultural Niteroi at 21.15 and again at the Estação NET Gavea on Sunday at 21.45


Paolo Sorrentino’s fantasy drama, “Parthenope”, that premiered in competition at Festival de Cannes, screens again on Friday at 14.00 at Cinesystem Praia do Botafogo and on Sunday at 19.15 at Estação NET Gavea.


“Emilia Pérez”, winner of two prizes in Cannes this year, including the Jury Prize and the prize for the best performance by an actress for its quartet of stars, screens Friday at Estação NET Botafogo at 21.15.
