Goldie Hawn Brings The Battle of amfAR to Festival do Rio

Academy Award winning actress Goldie Hawn is attending  Festival do Rio to support amfAR’s inaugural Inspiration Rio Gala, scheduled to take place on Friday, 4 October 2013 at the Copacabana Palace.

The event will also celebrate the Latin American premiere of the documentary The Battle of amfAR at Festival do Rio. The screening  took place on Thursday at Estação Rio 2. The documentary highlights Dr Mathilde Krim and the late Dame Elizabeth Taylor’s work founding amfAR and fighting the AIDS epidemic in the early years.

Goldie Hawn attend the screening along with Kenneth Cole. Hawn will also attend the screening of Shampoo on Saturday, 5 October at Estação Rio 1.
