Continuing the partnership that began in 2023 with the Cinemateca Brasileira - the institution responsible for preserving Brazilian audiovisual works and disseminating Brazil's film culture - the exhibition A Cinemateca é Brasileira: Resistências Cinematográficas features five classic titles that deal with social issues in different phases and styles: “A Opinião Pública” (1967), by Arnaldo Jabor; “Greve!” (1979), by João Batista de Andrade; “Eles Não Usam BlackTie” (1981), by Leon Hirszman; “Manhā.Cinzenta” (1969)  by Olney Sāo Paulo; and “O Que É Isso, Companheiro?” (1997), by Bruno Barreto.

On Monday, 7 October, the sidebar continues with a screening of “Eles Não Usam BlackTie”  by Leon Hirszman, at 18.50 at Estacao NET Rio 2.
