Trailer

One exhausted man is breathing deeply by the sea, his face agitated. Another, a Buddhist monk, walks barefoot and incredibly slowly through Marseille – so slowly that his progress is barely perceptible. The slow walking monk catches the attention of other pedestrians, and the camera reveals brief and beautiful fragments of people’s reactions to the eccentric walker. Until, at one point he gains a disciple. From the director Tsai Ming Liang from The River, The Hole and The Wayward Cloud. Screened at the Panorama section of the Berlin Film Festival 2014.
