Filmmaker Elizabeth Sankey uses the story of her own internment in a psychiatric ward after her son's birth to delve into the surprising connections between perinatal mental health and the depiction of witches in occidental society. Using excerpts of films of sorcerers in cinema to illustrate the experience and adding interviews with doctors and researchers, Sankey puts togethers a book of spells available to all.
