Link is a teenager who is coming to terms with his sexuality and has an abusive father. When he discovers that the supposedly dead mother, Sarah, may be alive, Link runs away with his younger brother. On the move, the two meet Pasmay, who shares Link's indigenous roots and offers to help them in their search for the mother.
