In Colombia, armed conflicts between guerilla fighters, paramilitary groups and the Colombian army threaten to extinguish several indigenous peoples in the country’s more isolated regions. The imminent peril moves three women of different indigenous groups to try to save their own communities. In distinct parts of the country, Doris and Flor use their leadership to protect relatives, friends and acquaintances caught in the crossfire. Ludis is a young mother whose husband was murdered and was unjustly jailed herself, and now runs a weaving collective with other women victimized by the violence in the region.
