Hong Sang-soo was born in 1960 in South Korea. Quite prolific, he is known for films like Night and Day (2008), Hahaha (2010), In Another Country (2012), Right Now, Wrong Then (2015), and The Day After (2017). The Woman Who Ran (2020), Introduction (2021), and The Novelist's Film (2022) were awarded at the Berlin Film Festival.
