Chico’s summer begins at home, next to his grandparents, under the shade of the lemon trees. This place is his refuge, home to his childhood memories. Nowadays he belongs to Lisbon, where he has graduated and hopes to find a career. Chico is part of a generation without prospects and expectations, whose project of reaching adulthood seems to be permanently postponed. The nights in Lisbon, full of affections and broken hearts, keep him in a psychedelic hedonism, where his anguish turns into euphoria. Special mention in the Filmmakers of the Present section at the 2017 Locarno Festival.
Pedro Cabeleira
Nasceu em Portugal em 1992 e se formou na Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema de Lisboa, onde dirigiu seu primeiro filme, o média Estranhamento (2013). Depois de se formar, ele criou a empresa de produção Videolotion, ao lado de Marta Ribeiro. Este é seu primeiro longa-metragem como diretor.
