Part of one of the first generations of black directors in Brazilian cinema. A journalist, actor, director, and screenwriter, in addition to the film One Is Few, Two Would Fill, he has directed short films, a Super 8 feature film, and a series of experimental films in 2000 and 2001, the last two of which were recently re-discovered on VHS.
