Isabella Patterson, a young Hollywood star, remembers how her meeting with Arnold Albertson, a charming Broadway director, changed her destiny. In her dubious narrative, she talks of the period in which she worked as a luxury escort and how, hired by Arnold, she received an irrefutable offer to work in theatre. As in a comedy of errors, it doesn’t take long for other characters to become involved in the situation. Among them are Arnold’s wife, the main actor in his play, the playwright and even Isabella’s therapist. By the master Peter Bogdanovich.
