Adi (17) is spending the summer in his home village in the Danube Delta. One night he is brutally attacked on the street, the next day his world is turned upside-down. His parents no longer look at him as they did, and the seeming tranquility of the village starts to crack. Queer Palm Cannes 2024.
Emanuel Pârvu
Born in 1979 in Romania. He works as an actor and as a film and theater director and writer. He has written and directed several short films before his prize-winning feature debut Meda or the Not So Bright Side of Things (2017) Among his most applauded productions are Everything Is Far Away (2018) and Consequências Irreversíveis (2021).
