Takemichi Hanagaki lives in a terrible apartment and works for a younger man who treats him as an idiot. One day he discovers that his ex-girlfriend and only love, Hinata, with whom he fell in love at high school, has been murdered by the Tokyo Manji gang which brings together the most dangerous criminals of the Kanto area. Takemichi subsequently decides to time-travel, going back to school time to save Hinata and destroy Tokyo Manji before it is too late.
