Mel never gives up declaring her faith even though she is prevented from attending her preferred service. Every night, she makes posters and takes them to the church door, in the hope that one day she will be able to go inside again. All through the years marked by the ascension of an ultraconservative government and the difficulties brought on by an unexpected pandemic, the documentary accompanies the struggle of this transexual hairdresser to enjoy her constitutional right to religious freedom.
