In Apulia, region known as the heel of Italy's boot, the highlands of the Gargano are disputed by criminals who preserve archaic values. In such a context, the forbidden love between the Malatesta heir, Andrea, and the Camporeale capo's wife, Marilena, stirs up the old hatred between the two rival families. Screened at the 2022 Venice Film Festival.
