Trailer

Emanuel is a teenage girl on the verge of turning 18. Never having met her mother, dead at childbirth, she lives with her supportive father and his new wife. When young Linda moves in next door, she quickly turns into a sort of mother figure to Emanuel, who offers to babysit her baby. Everything seems to go well until Emanuel finds out her neighbor has serious mental issues – and that her baby is actually a doll. However, instead of keeping her distance, Emanuel starts nurturing her neighbor’s fantasy. Official Selection at the Sundance Film Festival 2013.
