In crime-torn America, government passes a law that establishes a specific day of the year in which, for a period of 12 hours, all citizens are permitted to commit any sort of criminal activity without fearing any kind of retribution – no police, firemen or hospitals. It’s a night when people are allowed to do whatever they want – even killing. And it is on one of those nights that a peaceful family sees its gated community invaded – and now it is up to them to find a way to survive. From the producer of Paranormal Activity and Sinister.
