In 1921, members of an archaeological expedition discovered the mummy of Im-ho-tep, an ancient Egypt prince, who had been buried alive for sacrilege 3,700 years ago. A member of the expedition ends up accidentally bringing Im-ho-tep back to life. Ten years later, the mummy lives in Cairo under the name Adarth Bey and is searching for his former lover, Princess Ankh-es-en-amon, that reincarnated into a beautiful young woman in the city. To get to meet her, the mummy will do whatever is takes.
