In August 2011, Mark Duggan was shot dead by police officers in what we call a “hard stop”. The incident triggered a wave of violent riots, making it one of the largest civil unrest events in recent Great Britain history. This documentary follows the routine of Duggan's childhood friends, Marcus and Kurtis, over 24 months of mourning, imprisonment, and unemployment, in an attempt to understand what has happened. A journey in a world of racism, anger, and frustration by which many go pass every day, but few can see. Toronto Film Festival 2015.
