In silent-era Hollywood, stuntman Roy Walker is brought to a hospital after an on-set accident. There, he befriends a young girl and tells her a fantastical tale of epic heroes taking revenge on an evil ruler. The story transports her from the hospital into the exotic landscapes of her imagination.

Indian director graduated in California, he started his career with music videos, including R.E.M.'s Losing My Religion, and directed memorable commercials like the Pepsi ad featuring Queen's We Will Rock You with Beyoncé, Enrique Iglesias, P!nk and Britney Spears. His feature film debut was The Cell (2000), followed by Immortals (2011), Mirror Mirror (2012) and Self/less (2015).
