Hungry for power in a context of corruption, ambitious Trump goes from businessman to reality show celebrity and finally becomes president of the United States and one of the most polemical figures in the world. Ali Abbasi
Born in 1981 in Tehran, the Iranian filmmaker became internationally known with Border (2018), winner of the Un Certain Regard at Cannes. He also directed Shelley (2016) exhibited at the Berlinale, and Holy Spider (2022), which gave Zar Amir Ebrahimi the Best Actress award at Cannes.
