Inspired by the life work of her grandfather Joaquim da Costa Ribeiro, pioneer of physics in Brazil, Ana investigates the mysteries of Thermodielectrics, a natural phenomenon he discovered in 1944. She visits plantations of palm trees, mineral deposits and laboratories, cutting archive material with contemporary landscapes, narrating everything she encounters on the way to the audience, mixing art and science. This enigmatic encounter, full of doubts and questions, but also curiosity and poetry, results in a profound reflection about the phase shifts in our lives.
