Muraki Tetsur, editor of a small pornographic magazine, is vacationing in a hot springs resort when he watches a shocking porn movie. The realism of the 8mm film, depicting the collective rape of a teacher by a group of students, disturbs Muraki, who is obsessed with discovering the truth behind the tape. One day, while attending a shooting session at a hotel, he recognizes the receptionist as the woman in the movie. She confesses that it was the recording of a real rape and that the event left her with deep traumas. Muraki, on his end, confesses his platonic love for her.
Chûsei Sone
