Trailer

Thymian is the spoiled young daughter of a successful pharmacist. One day, her governess Elizabeth runs away, just to be found dead soon after. When she discovers the reason behind the escape, she seeks solace in the arms of opportunistic Meinert, who gets her pregnant. But Thymian refuses to marry the father of the child, which prompts the family to send her to a reform school. Controversial and sexy, the film marks the second teaming of G.W. Pabst and star Louise Brooks, right after the success of Pandora’s Box. Restored version.
