Trailer
A mysterious loner roams the streets of a megalopolis every night. His mission: destroy roaches’ nests. Dressed in an aluminum get-up beneath several layers of clothing, he tries to prevent his frail body from being exposed to electromagnetic waves. In his second feature film, a rare example of fantasy cinema made in Iran, Vahid Vakilifar sheds his semi-documentary style and devotes himself to creating a dark atmosphere to frame a narrative which mirrors his concerns regarding mankind’s fate. Official selection of the Tribeca Film Festival and the Rotterdam Film Festival 2013.
