​The story of a group of girls in favelas in Rio de Janeiro who are chosen to represent Brazil at the Street Children World Cup 2014. The film shows these girls, who have been victims of crimes, violence and social problems, and how, with their coaches, they work to become a winning team. The Street Children World Cup happened in Rio de Janeiro a few months before the FIFA World Cup and gathered boys and girls from 19 countries. This film is the second part of a series that began by documenting the first Street Children World Cup in Durban, South Africa, in 2010.​

​Born in Rio de Janeiro. She studied film at NYU. She works as a director, editor and producer for cinema, TV and advertising. This is her first feature film.​
