During the nuclear disaster at Fukushima, Japan, a young couple is exposed to radiation. With the evacuation of the region, Sabu and his pregnant wife Miki move to Tokyo, where, due to her pregnancy, they receive frequent visits from government officials. Despite not reaching a consensus about whether or not to keep the baby, the official line is clear: have an abortion and keep it quiet. Living every day with the supposition that the baby is not well, the couple gradually succumb to the paranoia. By Kim Ki-duk, director of Pietá, Arirang and 3-Iron.
