England, 1947. Famous detective Sherlock Holmes, 93 years old, lives in his country house where he spends his time beekeeping. When he watches a film about his life, he barely recognises himself. On screen, acts seen as heroic were merely simple decisions. He also never used that hat and always preferred cigars to a pipe. The experience reconnects him with his past and old cases crowd his mind again. After all, what happened to the mysterious Ann Kelmot? A story between truth and legend, memory and age. By the director of Gods and Monsters and Dreamgirls. Berlin 2015.
