A Danish family on holiday in Tuscany make friends with a Dutch family. Months later, the Danish couple receive an unexpected invitation to visit the Dutch people in their country house and decide to spend a weekend there. However it does not take long for the pleasure of the reunion to turn into misunderstanding. Things gradually get out of control, as the Dutch people turn out to be very different from what they seemed, and the little Danish family find themselves stuck in a house which they wish they had never entered.
Christian Tafdrup
Danish actor and director, graduate of the Danish National School of Performing Arts. Acted in series and films, like After the Wedding (2006) and Borgen (2013). Directed award-winning shorts, including Awakening (2008), and the features Parents (2016) and A Horrible Woman (2017). Known for his satirical approach mixing comedy and drama to examine relationships in contemporary occidental society.
