Trailer
Sofiane, son of an Algerian ex-diplomat, has already travelled a lot and when he establishes himself in Lyon to study, is victim of an administrative decision ordering his deportation. Hoping to regularise his situation, he agrees to work for a Moslem funeral service. Between celebrations, meetings and tasks, Sofiane begins a voyage of self-discovery which will transform him into an adult.
Karim Bensalah
Born in Algeria, son of an Algerian father and Brazilian mother. After growing up in Haiti and Senegal, he moved to Paris aged 18 to study literature, philosophy and social sciences. Studied at London Film School, where he directed Constant Flow (2000), and, back in Paris, worked as director, screenwriter and actor. His work centres on questions regarding the construction of identity.
