On the night of September 5 1972 a terrorist group called Black September invaded the Olympic Villa at Munich Olympic Games, taking athletes from the Israeli delegation hostage. Focussing sports journalists covering the competition who had to switch their agendas radically to relate the kidnapping in real time, the film deals with journalistic responsibilities and a topic that is becoming more important every day: the power of the media. Opening film Orizzonti Extra Veneza 2024.

Swiss filmmaker and DP. Directed music videos, worked as cameraman an made the award-winning short Für Julian (2003) while studying at Munich University of Television and Film. His first feature, Hell (2011), was exhibited at Munich and Locarno. Before Setember 5, he directed the film The Colony (2021).
