Samba Gadjigo, Jason Silverman
Gadjigo was born in Senegal and is a professor of French and African Studies at Mount Holyoke College. He is the biggest specialist on Sembene’s work and the author of his official biography. In 2005, he directed The Making of Moolaade. Silverman produced films such as Olympia (1998) and Shameless (1996). He was director and producer of festivals such as Tribeca. He runs the Cinematheque at the Center for Contemporary Arts in Santa Fé, USA.
