​Mary, a nurse, lost her daughter at the hands of three paramilitary soldiers in Colombia. To get revenge on the murderers, she travels to Santa Cruz de Tenerife with her youngest son. She also has the only proof found at her destroyed home: a photo with a face, a dedication and a name: Ivan. Gonzalo, a school psychologist who had his life turned upside down when he met the Colombian nurse, offers to help her on her obsessive search. Meanwhile, in some part of the capital of the Canary Islands, Ivan’s life and that of his girlfriend Vero are about to change forever.​
