When his latest script is rejected by a funding institution, Julian is forced to take a fruit picking job on a farm. While trying to carry out his plan, he convinces Camille, a young Canadian woman, that he is conducting research for a communist fairy tale, in which she will play the lead role. While Julian struggles to cope with the physical tension that arose between the two, Camille throws herself enthusiastically into the supposed research and befriends Hong and Sancho, two proletarians in pursuit of happiness. Julian Radlmaier
Nasceu em Nuremberg, Alemanha, em 1984, e estudou direção na Academia Alemã de Cinema e Televisão de Berlim. É diretor do média-metragem Ein Gespenst geht um in Europa (2013), exibido no Festival de Oberhausen, e do longa A Proletarian Winter's Tale (2014), exibido nos festivais de Viena e Roterdã, entre outros.
