The body of a child is found near the house of apparently normal couple Shunsuke and Kanako. Satomi, the child’s mother, is taken into custody as the prime suspect. But it does not take long for the police to become suspicious of Shunsuke, after Satomi claims to be having an affair with him. Following the case, Watanabe, a tabloid journalist, unearths another shocking crime in Shunsuke’s past. Fifteen years ago, during his college days, he was involved in a gang rape. Based on Shuichi Yoshida’s best-selling novel. Special Jury prize at the Moscow International Festival.
