Adalberto Kemeny e Rodolfo Lustig
Adalberto Kemeny (1901–1969) and Rodolfo Rex Lustig (1901–1970), of Hungarian origin, were childhood friends in Budapest. Before moving to Brazil, they worked in Berlin, at UFA cinema company. Rudolf arrived in Brazil in 1922 and Adalberto in 1926. In 1928, they bought Independência Filme which they transformed into Rex Film, a documentary and news production company which became an essential laboratory for the creation of cinema in São Paulo and Brazil.
