Trailer
Roaming in a minivan, Italian director Gianfranco Rosi (El Sicario, Room 164) went after stories and characters living on the fringes of a ring road around Rome. From this invisible world, hidden behind a seemingly endless anti-noise barrier, emerge characters such as a Piedmont nobleman or a botanist struggling to save his palm trees. A collection of stories on the backstage of an expanding universe. Chosen best film at the Venice Film Festival 2013, this is the first documentary ever to win the Golden Lion.
