The anthropologist David Graeber guides us in an analysis of the current crises around the world. The tireless Occupy Wall Street in New York is the starting point for this documentary which uses the reflections of Graeber and other specialists, to outline the general situation in the US today. It looks at controversial aspects of society like work, debts and privacy. Through the protests in Egypt, Italy, Guinea, Spain and the USA, we are lead to reflect on the history of debt, uprising and above all on the system of financial control. The first episode of the trilogy with the same name.
