​Cissoko is a refugee who comes to Italy and feels on his flesh the precariousness felt by those who flee to Europe in search of a better life. The desire to tell his people about his experience led him to film the unattractive aspects of the Western world in crisis, where conditions are often similar to slavery. His return to Guinea for the screening of these images in schools and villages is an invitation for the renegotiation of these conflicts. Completing his mission, Cissoko comes to Brazil to pay tribute to slaves descendants who live in quilombo communities.​
