Luzimar and Gildo are great childhood friends who are reunited after being apart for many years. They grew up together in Cataguases, Minas Gerais. Luzimar never left his hometown and works at a weaving factory. Gildo has moved to Sao Paulo, where he thinks he has become a more successful man. On Christmas Eve, Luzimar and Gildo confront the past and, in an intense and turbulent journey into their memories, they dangerously begin to settle the scores.

Born in 1963, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He majored in economy from PUC-MG. He has a vast experience in TV shows and has directed soap operas such as The King of the Cattle (1996), Walking the Clouds (1999), Women in Love (2003), Cabocla (2004), Bang Bang (2005), Tropical Paradise (2007), and Avenida Brasil (2012), and miniseries such as Siren's Song (2013), Doomed (2014), The Party (2014), Justice (2016), and Nada será como antes. This is his first feature film.
