Trailer

A film within a film. Young directors – adolescent prodigies – are filming The Exhibitionist on a farm in an idyllic setting. Barão, played by Ney Matogrosso, lives on this farm, where he will celebrate his marriage to dancer Marcelo. The film poetically investigates the Brazilian soul, putting the Amazon at the epicentre of the world, reflecting on existential questions, legitimising the right to freedom and sexual individuality. A philosophical and musical film, freely adapted from the play The Lower Depths by Maxim Gorky.
