1995. After an enormous rally in the centre of Tel Aviv, Israeli prime minister Yitzhak Rabin is murdered. The shooter is a young Jewish militant of the far right. In a mixture of fiction and documentary, director Amos Gitai investigates the prelude to and consequences of this event that changed the course of history and put an end to hopes of a peace process. In this detailed summary of evidence and interviews, a subculture of hate is revealed, which is fed by hysterical and paranoid rhetoric. A tribute to the Nobel Peace Prize winner on the 20th anniversary of his death. Venice 2015.
