Sorin Parvu, a brilliant mathematician who lives in Romania Ceausescu, see his professional life hindered by the government. During the communist era, being a genius was not enough: you had to know the right people and sometimes become informer of the Securitate, the State Police. With only a few thousand researchers and a national network of informants, they managed to keep an entire country whispering in terror.
