Damien and Thomas attend the same school and could easily have been friends. Yet they cannot stand each other and insults are frequent, that is, when they aren’t taking swings at each other. Damien's mother is a doctor and his father is a military pilot. Thomas is the a child of a farming family living on a remote area. After several miscarriages, Thomas's mother is pregnant again. To help make a difficult pregnancy easier, Damien's mother invites Thomas to live with them until the baby is born. Now Damien and Thomas will have to live under the same roof.
