When their son Peng disappears, life for Tian Wenjun and his ex-wife Lu Xiaojuan, becomes a nightmare. Guilt ridden they cross the whole country looking for their child. After months of fruitless searching, the hope of finding him becomes the only reason for their lives. They folllow a clue to a remote village in the north of the country and finally find the boy, but he's changed. Seeing the parents as two strangers, the child suffers the trauma of being taken from his family a second time. Screened at Venice Festival 2014.
